Dolce and Banana and Ethno Bongo are the 2 brands of products available in a beautiful shop established since 1998 in Hout Bay Cape Town .
We produce hand made jewellery and accessories using local crafters and local materials .
The Jewellery is colourful, stylish, exotic, occasionally over the top but never 'bling' and is branded 'Dolce & Banana'.
We use mainly natural materials such as wood, horn, shells, gem stones, raffia, leather...
Ethno Bongo is the name of our Decor range using local reclaimed wood, oak wine barrels, palm fronds, driftwood , blue gum, etc. And again all items made in our workshop in Hout Bay.
The creativity is endless, funky birds, penquins, ostriches made from Palm leaves, calabashes and feathers.
Mirrors, candle holders, frames, wine bottle racks, stools and tables, clocks and ceramic sculptures all inspired by the sea side.
All these items are displayed in an original fishermen's cottage on the Main Road of Hout Bay leading onto the famous Chapman's Peak Drive
